Greetings Wisconsin District,
It was certainly a great disappointment to have to cancel all our scheduled camps for 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Many of you have expressed disappointment that this had to be done, but you have also have been very understanding as well.
In spite of this, there is some good news. Effective June 25, 2020, the WI District Campground will be open for camping, including the RV park, tent sites, and dorm rooms.
To register for off-season camping, please first contact the district office at 608.495.6300 or Sis. Herman’s cell at 608.495.0520 for rates and information. You may also email her at widistrictsec2sec@gmail.com.
A few things to be aware of:
Campers still need to have pastoral approval, even during the off-season. (verbal permission given to the district office is acceptable)
We’re asking that all campground rules be adhered to even though it’s offseason. This includes proper modest attire. (Please see campground rules)
All offseason rates will apply. (Please contact the district office with any questions)
Camp Caretaker, Gary Wilke will be ensuring that all people staying overnight on the campground are registered and have paid.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are asking that you take appropriate measures to ensure the safety of other campers by practicing social distancing, when applicable, and keeping the restroom facilities cleaned after use. Please know that you are using the campground at your own risk.
